Kate Lynn was born with music in her blood.
Like her idol Adele, Kate Lynn has the ability to inspire with her lyrics and move the listener with an emotional delivery that is well beyond her very young age. “I love music because it bring out so many emotions in a person – it lifts me up when I feel down. I want to inspire people and help them create new memories through our musical journey. This is what I feel when I listen to an artist like Adele. Her melodies immediately move people and I hope to be able to do the same thing with music.”
Although Kate draws influence from the likes of Adele, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, her style is distinctly her own. That Kate Lynn has managed to combine acoustic nuances of folk and country guitar along with soaring vocals, heartful lyrics and orchestral embellishments, is a testament to this young artist’s natural talents. The young phenom’s talents immediately caught the attention of world-renown vocal coach, Brian Ferrell, whose work with Kiesza, Paul Brant and Celine Dion provide the perfect context for working with a child vocal prodigy.
When asked about her experiences so far and what advice she has for other young musicians, Kate Lynn had this to offer: “I love to perform live and use the feedback that fans and audience members give me. This is a really important part of the experience for me and other young artists should use this kind of feedback to develop and grow from. Make sure to surround yourself with good people, that love music as much as you do. Make sure you get a professional vocal coach or instructor and learn from them. Remember to listen!
And listen we will, when Kate Lynn’s first single “Sunlight” debuts worldwide in 2016.
